West Palm Beach building boom: Numerous projects already under construction or approved

A citizen group in West Palm Beach is tracking 67 development projects, including over 20 under construction and 14-16 approved but not yet started, many of which are high-rises exceeding 20 stories. The group proposes a two-year pause on new major development requests to assess the impact on traffic and infrastructure. The city has not taken a position but recently imposed a six-month pause on waterfront developments.
